Fazley SiddiqFazley Siddiq

Dean

Fazley Siddiq is a Professor of Economics and Finance, and Dean of Business at the University of New Brunswick.

He has been a fellow at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and was the 2012-13 Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in Canada-U.S. Relations at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. He has taught at Dalhousie University and Queen's University at Kingston, and has worked for the World Bank and UNDP.

Rob Moir

Dr. Rob Moir

Associate Dean (Research and Special Projects)

Rob Moir is Associate Dean (Research and Special Projects) and Associate Professor of Economics in the Faculty of Business. In his role as Associate Dean, he has two key tasks - working on AACSB accreditation and building/maintaining partnerships for both our academic offerings (e.g., Bachelor of Applied Management) and for research opportunities.

Dr. Moir has been a visiting research scholar at the University of Arizona in Tucson, and the Cognitive and Experimental Economics Laboratory at the University of Trento in Trento, Italy. He has also been a visiting professor at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, China.

Dr. Moir received a Bachelor of Arts and Science (Honours in Economics) from McMaster, an MA from Queen's, and a PhD from McMaster. He joined the faculty of University of New Brunswick Saint John in 1996.

Gregory Fleet

Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programs and Student Affairs)

Greg Fleet

Gregory Fleet is Associate Dean (Undergraduate Programs and Student Affairs) and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business. His role as Associate Dean involves developing and delivering the various undergraduate programs, and supporting the development and growth of the Faculty’s Co-op program.

Dr. Fleet teaches a variety of undergraduate courses in eCommerce (at introductory and senior levels), as well as Business Research Methods, a required course for all business students. Dr. Fleet also teaches Research Methods and Social Business Strategy at the MBA level.

Prior to joining the University of New Brunswick, Dr. Fleet worked for over 14 years at Bell Northern Research (Nortel) in Ottawa as Senior User Experience Engineer within Design Interpretive. He holds a B.A. in Music and a PhD in Psychology. He joined the faculty of University of New Brunswick Saint John in 2000.

Melody McElman

Melody McElman

Office Manager

Melody McElman is Office Manager of the Dean's Office. Melody is the key support person in the day-to-day management of the Dean’s Office and the overall coordination and implementation of the operations of the Faculty of Business. She joined the Faculty of Business at the University of New Brunswick Saint John in 1993.

Natalie Folster

Natalie Folster

Project Coordinator

Natalie Folster is Project Coordinator and an Honorary Research Associate in the Faculty of Business. She has worked in government at the federal and provincial level and conducted policy-oriented research and program reviews for various organizations in addition to teaching courses in public policy and global issues at UNB.

She holds a PhD in Development Studies from the London School of Economics, and is a graduate of the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (M.A. Development Studies) at Carleton University, and UNB (B.A.; B.Ed). She joined the Faculty of Business in 2015.

Patti Chisholm

Administrative Assistant

Patti ChisholmPatti Chisholm is Administrative Assistant & Receptionist for the Faculty of Business. Prior to joining the Faculty of Business in July 2016, she was a member of the UNB Saint John Facilities Management Office, a position she held from 2010 – 2016. She also has over thirty years’ experience working in private industry in a variety of roles including public relations and marketing, communications, human resources, and office management.

Patti holds a BBA with a Major in Human Resources Management (First Class) from UNB Saint John (2001), where she was on the Dean’s List for all four years of her program. Actively engaged in the community, Patricia is currently on the Board of Directors of Crane Mountain Environment (2015 – present), and recently completed a term as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Saint John Free Public Library (2006 – 2015).
