Many employers partner with our co-op program as part of their long-term recruitment strategy. Not only will you have access to our top business students, year-round, but over each four-month placement you’ll have an opportunity to see how their skills fit within your organization.

Our students are academically strong and prepared to make an immediate contribution to your organization. Many students see co-op as an opportunity to explore career opportunities in the Saint John area and plan to build their future here after graduation.

What will you be responsible for?

One of the most valuable components of our co-op program is the mentorship our students receive from the employer.

To help facilitate this process, we ask that employers provide:

• Full-time, paid employment (min. 35 hours per week)
• Supervisor to train, mentor and provide feedback
• Valuable and productive work experience
• Student performance evaluations at the mid-point and end of the work-term 
• Work-site visit with the co-op coordinator
