UNB Concert Band and UNB Chorale present End of Semester Concert on Tuesday, December 6
The UNB Concert Band and the UNB Chorale invite you to welcome the Christmas Season at Memorial Hall on the UNB Fredericton Campus, Tuesday, December 6, 2016, 7:30 pm.
The UNB Concert Band will perform a bouquet of pieces celebrating the beauty, diversity and pride of our Canadian nation as well as an excerpt from Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. The UNB Chorale will take you on a vocal journey featuring China, the Maritimes, Our Father, Our Hearts, Dancing Voices and how to prepare chili con carne! Both groups will do their best to lift up your spirits in a dark time!
The UNB Concert Band and the UNB Chorale are directed by Björn Runefors. Bradley Hachey is accompanying the choir.

UNB Concert Band
Under the direction of Björn Runefors, the UNB Concert Band meets on Tuesdays from 5:30-7PM in the auditorium of Memorial Hall.
The band welcomes students, staff and members of the community at large. It plays at Fall Convocation, at the end of term concerts and in collaboration with the local community band. Some instruments are available for loan.
The UNB Chorale is also under the direction of Björn Runefors. They rehearse in Room 23 of Memorial Hall on Mondays from 7 - 9pm. The choir participates in concerts on campus as well as other events in the community. No auditions - if you can carry a tune, you are welcome - students, faculty, staff and the general community.
Fredericton Chamber Orchestra
The Fredericton Chamber Players under the baton of Sam Arnold is a community orchestra, which welcomes students. It performs various concerts throughout the year. Rehearsals take place on Saturdays from 2:00-4:30 pm in room 23 of Memorial Hall.
